Photos from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is an amazing park, especially for those of us living on the east coast. This park is stunning in any season, and if you are up for hiking a few miles there are endless places to explore.
Photographing the battlefield at Gettysburg, PA . Gettysburg is just a short drive from my home, so I spend a lot of time there. Although I typically prefer more remote landscapes, there is a lot to photograph in Gettysburg. The monuments and cannons are very picturesque surround by beautiful farms and open land.
Photos from the mountains of Virginia. Shenandoah is similar, in some ways, to the more popular Great Smoky Mountains National Park. At Shenandoah you can see more without needing to hike, although there are some awesome trails if you want to get away from the crowds. The great mountain views and waterfalls make it a perfect place for photographers.
